Aroma: powerful notes of sherry and toffee. Black tea, salt, smoke. Cloves, aniseed, raisins, figs.
Palate: sweet, mighty sherry, raisins, pepper, aniseed and eucalyptus. Caramel, honey, milk chocolate. Dry oak tannins are also present. Maritime at the end - salt and roasted almonds. Finish: spices with sherry. Long, chocolaty finish. Herbs and salt.
Comment: good sherried Bunna. Nice mix of sherry power with gentle maritime character. PX cask maybe? Saltiness counterbalance sweetness. Good without water also.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
