Aroma: seaweed and salty sea water, vanilla. Smoked ham and young dry wood. Aroma is bit pungent, but notes are gentle.
Palate: notes of lemon zest, sawdust and honey with pepper. Bitter grapefruits, green tea. Finish: lemon zest and green tea. Warm, medium long.
Comment: just good, but without wow. Even too gentle I would say. Clean and delicate. With time I've got more maritime style, but not enough in this case. Reminds me young Bruichladdich a bit.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
