Aroma: raisins and caramel. Old wood, dried dates. Sherry with hints of milk chocolate. Fresh. Traces of salt and sawdust.
Palate: sweet, gentle notes of sherry and wood, nuts and spices. Citrus fruits jam also. I like taste more than aroma this time. Smoke, salt and bitter chocolate notes. Finish: salty, with wood, spices and smoke.
Comment: note bad, but I would like more intense aroma. I usually expect much more from the malt of this age. This one with good mix of sherry, saltiness and wood is really drinkable, yet not too complex comparing to others.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
