Aroma: oily wood with cinnamon notes. Figs and nuts - almons, walnuts. Notes of ripe fruit. Matured and deep aroma.
Palate: wood tannings with spice and citrus fruit. Good mix of pepper and nuts. Finish: wood and spice. Some old books. Nice trace of nuts.
Comments: serious, heavyweight, bit cognac style. Wood starts to become too overwhelming and drying, but still very pleasant. IMHO, it in it's peak probably. Very interesting malt.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
