Aroma: ashes, sweet and fresh lemon. Vanilla, lemon drops and pepper. Really fresh and 'candied' style. Fruit cocktail - pineapples, bananas. Baked apples, newly cut wood. Bit similar to Caol Ila, but much sweeter.
Palate: lemon, ashes and peppermint. Narrow style, but really nice. Just nice. Bit dry. Green apples and pineapple drops are complemented by wood and grass. That mix of black tea, green apples, pineapple and bananas is interesting and not bothering. Finish: fresh bananas, gree tea, trace of ash.
Comments: aroma is very to my liking, palate is less good. Overall - great, keeping in mind it's about 3-4 years old. Good balance, fresh and alive.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
