Nice box, bottle with leather wrap - it is a try to be in a premium segment so easily? This one changed their 15yo. Is it content so nice as a package (latter one is a matter of taste, malt also). Anyway, malt is clear ir with it's character.

Aroma: vanilla and leather notes mix with some zest and green tea. Pear cider.
Palate: malty notes mix with wood and ripe fruit. Leather and wood. Grapefruit and lemon peel. Fresh cut grass and oil, wax notes. Finish: bit bitter one, with some wood and bitterness from lemon peel and grapefruit, some vanilla.
Comment: classy, robust one. Not too fruity, not sherried. Pleasant and nicely balanced. Clean one!

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
